Mapping exercise was conducted to explore the scope of training and job opportunities for youth. The exercise explored the skills and vocational training available at Upazila, District, and Divisional/National level in both public and private institutions, as well as the scope of work after the training either in employment or self-employment for youths. This event was organized in the presence of local administration and Local Elected Bodies (LEB).
Existing youth platforms were mobilized into networks to claim public services. Young people organized themselves in networks and alliances with other actors in civil society at local, national, and global levels. A social media campaign was facilitated for claiming quality public services by gathering experiences from the local context.

A mapping exercise was also conducted with key stakeholders, and Ward Sobha was organized to identify grassroots needs. The objective of the Ward Sobha is for the Union Parishad to inform people about participatory development planning by presenting the draft plan in an open meeting and prioritizing proposals provided by the participants. Most Union Parishads do not go beyond the formal way, but Satgombuj Union Parishad is exceptional as they inform their happening date every year.
Our existing youths supported publicity activities to increase participation and were actively involved in the process. The Satgombuj Union Parishad Chairman always inspires youth volunteers. In the previous year, most voters attended the Ward Sobha to claim their demands for incorporation into the Union Parishad annual budget. Constituents joyously participated in the Ward Sobha.
