Management and Governance Approach

Badhon (BMUS) is improving their performance
by specifying repeatable steps that organizations
consciously implement to achieve their goals
and objectives,

and to create an organizational culture that
reflexively engages in a continuous cycle of
self-evaluation, correction, and improvement
of operations and processes

through heightened employee awareness
and management leadership commitment.

The benefits of the management system to our organization include:

  • More efficient use of resources and improved financial performance

  • Improved risk management and protection of environment

  • Increased people capability

  • Ability to deliver consistent and improved services

  • Increased value to all beneficiaries and other stakeholders

Internal Control System

Every level of management and project staff
has a role and responsibility to improve
the internal control system of
Badhon (BMUS) funded projects.

The Project Coordinator, as the project team leader,
ensures that day-to-day project activities
are done effectively and efficiently.

The Executive Director (ED)
has ultimate authority to execute
the internal control system
both in the organization and
in donor-funded projects.

The Project Accounts & Admin Officer
oversees compliance with policies, procedures,
local laws, and donor requirements.

All other staff will perform activities
according to established policies and procedures.

The Executive Committee (EC)
will set appropriate policies on internal control
and seek regular assurance from staff
that donor-funded projects
are functioning effectively.
