Dialogue was conducted with national and local government for improved services for young people on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Job fairs were organized on public services related to technical education. Training on Gender Responsive Public Service was conducted and step-down sessions were organized with youth peers. Training on RTI (Right to Information) was provided and step-down activities were carried out with youth peers. Training on Youth Leadership was also conducted and step-down sessions were organized among youths.
Advocacy meetings were held involving employers and employees. Training on Social Audit was organized with youth members. Youth-led social accountability initiatives were undertaken to improve the quality of services at local government level. Policy review and dialogue were conducted with the government for preparing youth and gender-responsive budgets and situation analysis at Union Parishad level.
Pre-dialogue sessions were held with Union Parishad representatives, especially women members, youths, and grassroots people. Findings were presented to Upazila-based officials and finally discussed with Union Parishad representatives along with youths about the key issues and findings.
Youth people are taking action for the common cause of arising social context issues.
